공통 고교정보 활용 방안에 대한 연구

A Study on The Utilization of Common High School Information

본 연구는 공통 고교정보 활용 방안에 대해 알아보기 위해 문헌 분석 및 설문조사를 실시하여 빈도 분석과 백분율로 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, “공통 고교정보”의 활용과 관련하여 대학의 입학사정관들의 인식은 매우 긍정적인 것으로 나타났다. “공통 고교정보”가 제공하는 자료 가운데 학생부종합전형 평가 시 활용 순위가 가장 높은 항목은 ‘고교기본정보(기본현황)’ 항목이며 다음으로는 ‘교육과정 운영현황이었으나 세부적 항목에서 일부 개선의 필요성을 제기하였다. 둘째, 고교 교사들은 “공통 고교정보” 제공의 필요성에 대해서는 공감하고 있지만 그에 따른 업무에 대해서는 큰 부담을 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 따라“공통 고교정보”의 세부적 문제점을 지적하거나 개선의 필요성을 제기하였다. 셋째, 각 대학 입학사정관(위촉, 전환, 교수사정관 포함)을 대상으로 ‘공통 고교정보’ 활용여부, 활용 만족도, 평가효율성에 대한 인식을 분석한 결과 보통 이상의 만족과 개선방안을 제안하였다. 이에 따라 ‘공통 고교정보’의 효율적인 활용을 위한 수정·보완의 필요성과 정책적 제언을 하였다.

The “Common high school information” form is distributed to high schools through nationwide regional and provincial offices of education, and it is collected from the high schools by the Korean Council for University Education. The unified information is provided to universities in need of such information for conducting their school-record based selection process. As there is a need to establish concrete measures to ensure that the “common high school information” provided to the university will be used fairly and rationally in the admission selection process, it is necessary to conduct surveys on the teachers who record the “Common high school information” and the admission officers who use that information; it is also essential to explore various ways of improvement. This study analyzes the utilization of the “Common high school information” form and presents the results. Suggestions for improvement are also proposed in this paper. Based on the analyzed results, this study discussed the perception and validity of the “Common high school information” form and provided policy suggestions and directions for follow-up studies for the efficient utilization of such information.
