Study of Loanword Verbs in Japanese: A Case of […out–suru]

｢アウト(out)｣を介在するサ変動詞本研究は国立国語研究所の｢現代書き言葉均衡コーパス｣の検索デモンストレーションの中納言(以下、BCCWJ)に基づき、｢アウト(out)｣を介在するサ変動詞構文を500例を抜き出して、外来語を語幹にするサ変動詞の構文的な特徴や新造語としての認定、誤用といった問題について分析を行った。 本稿ではカタカナが介在するサ変動詞を対象に､特に｢アウト(out)｣を介在するサ変動詞構文を中心にし、上記に挙げた問題点を踏まえつつ、構文分析を行っていく。 述語機能は働いていても、終止より主名詞を挟んで連体述語の方がより目立つということは、｢アウト(out)｣を介在するサ変動詞は名詞句の述語の役割が主な機能であると言えよう。 これらの分析を通して、カタカナを語幹にするサ変動詞､取り分け、｢アウト(out)｣を介在するサ変動詞は語幹の意味合いが述語の文法範疇より先立って働くということができ、｢動名詞｣として機能する考えられる。 カタカナを語幹にするサ変動詞、特に｢アウト(out)｣を介在するサ変動詞構文を分析した結果､意義の混同、表記の誤用、どの辞書にも登録していない語句が混在してしまうことが分かった。

｢out｣ was analyzed about the problems relating to the syntactic features and the authorization as a new construction language of the sa-gyou irregular verb. The present study picks out 500 examples and makes the loan word a stem misusing the sa-gyou irregular verb construction. It was possible to sense a possibility of non-grammar whose instances are not found in dictionaries such as 󰡔Kohjien󰡕, and it was the catchword narrowed down to a main target on writing. Even if the predicate function is at work, the role of the predicate of a noun phrase is the main function of the sa-gyou irregular verb. It was an implication of a stem preceding the sa-gyou irregular verb more than the grammatical category of the predicate, and ｢out｣ functions as a ｢gerund｣. The sa-gyou irregular verb which makes the Katakana a stem, in particular, ｢out｣, functions as a ｢gerund｣. This study shows the wrong significance and unstableness of transcription. And I found out that the word and phrase registered with no dictionaries is intermingled.
