한·일 TV뉴스에 나타나는 호칭표현의 양상

A Study on the Title Expressions in Korea-Japan TV News: Focusing on the Third Party’s Title Expressions

韓国と日本のテレビニュースに現れる第3者に関する呼称表現として名前の前後に結合する呼称表現について考察した。KBSの場合、名前の後ろに結合する呼称表現をほとんど使わず、名前だけ言及したが、NHKの場合は名前の後に呼称表現として｢氏｣を多く用いた。NHKは第三者に対して名前だけで言及するという｢呼び捨て｣を好まないことが分かった。話者のアンカーの立場から聞き手の視聴者に第三者に関して言及する際、第三者を待遇する呼称表現を使うことは視聴者のみならず第三者に対する配慮だと思われる。選挙結果による呼称表現の変化では、當選された｢トランプ｣に対し、KBSは｢候補｣という呼称表現が用いられたが、NHKは選挙結果を確実に反映し｢候補｣が一度も用いられなかった。第3者の名前の前で指す呼称表現としては、KBSの場合、候補者に対する主観的な呼称表現がNHKより多かったことが確認できた。選挙結果によっては、KBSは結果が発表されても｢トランプ｣に対する主観的な表現があったが、NHKでは中立的かつ事実的な呼称表現だけがあった。第三者に対する呼称表現では、選挙結果という要因の影響をKBSよりNHKが大きく受けていることが分かった。

In the case of KBS, most of third party expressions only mention their names, but in the case of NHK, most of them use 氏 as a third party expression followed by their names. NHK confirmed that it did not prefer a title expression called ｢呼び捨て｣, which uses only names for third parties. I claim that this indicates that the use of the title expression, which treats the third party when referring to the third party from the speaker position, is a consideration for not only the listeners but also the third party. According to the election results, KBS used the title of ‘candidate’ for Trump, who was elected already but in the case of NHK, the election results were confirmed, but the title ｢候補｣ was not used to clearly reflect the situation. In front of the name of a third party, KBS confirmed that there were more subjective expressions for the U.S. presidential candidate than NHK. In addition, looking at the title expressions in front of the third party’s name based on the election results, KBS confirmed that the subjective expression of Trump was used even if the election results were announced, but only neutral and realistic modifiers were used in NHK. It means that NHK is more affected than KBS in expressing its title to a third party on factors of the result of the election.
