学習者の提出課題を活用したオンライン授業

Online Classes Using Learners’ Assignments: A Practical Report on Intermediate and Advanced Classes in a Japanese-Speaking Dormitory

2020年の新型コロナウィルス感染拡大により全国の大学が急遽オンラ イン授業導入となった。本稿は啓明大学校の日本語学習寮(JIKU)の学生を対象とした1年間のオンライン授業の実践報告である。1学期はオンデマンド型による授業配信を行い、学習者の意見を参考にした授業分析をもとに2学期にはオンデマンド型と同時双方向型併用の授業を行った。さらに1学期と2学期の授業を比較検討し、より効果的な学習指導案としてまとめた。非対面授業を、あえて対面授業に近い形で行う必要はないのではないか、むしろ対面ではできないことに着目することが授業の可能性を広げることにつながるのではないかというのが本稿の問題提起である。特にオンデマンド型授業の場合、いかに学習者の興味をひき集中度を維持させるかが重要であり、そのためには学習者の提出課題の活用が有効となる。非対面授業の長期化が学習意欲の低下を招くおそれもある。システムに頼るだけでなく学習者の内発的動機付けを促すことで能動的な学習へと導こうという提案が本稿の目的である。特別なオンラインコンテンツやアプリ、教材を利用せずとも学習者の意欲や集中力を損なうことなく満足度の高い授業を行うことは充分可能である。

As a result of prevailing COVID-19 infectionsin 2020, universities nationwide hurriedly have adopted online lectures. This is a practical report on online lectures of 2020 for the students who study Japanese language in the dormitory(JIKU) in Keimyung University. Giving online lectures on-demand in the first semester and reflecting the students’ opinions, the combination of online lectures and real-time lectures was given in the second semester. Compared with the first semester, the second one has more effective teaching solutions in itself. The first issue addressed in this report is whether there are any necessities of similarly face-to-face lectures on the online lectures, while we could extend the possibility of potential activities developed on this unique situation. Especially for the online lectures on-demand, it is really important how the students’attention will be paid. Long-lasting online lectures will bring down the motivation for the students to study. The main thrust of this report is to propose the method for active, spontaneous learning by not only relying on the system but also motivating the initiative of students. Highly satisfactory lectures encouraging students to focus on their learning are fully practicable, even without any special online contents, applications or materials.
