은유분석을 통해 본 유아교육기관에서의 실외놀이에 대한 부모의 인식

Metaphor Analysis of Parents’ Perceptions about Outdoor Play in Early childhood Educational Institutions

목적 본 연구는 은유분석을 통해 유아교육기관에서의 실외놀이에 대한 부모의 인식과 의미를 탐색하는데 목적을 두었다. 방법 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 유아기 자녀를 둔 143명의 부모를 대상으로 선정하여 온라인 설문을 실시하였다. 부모는 ‘유아교육기관에서의 실외놀이는 ________(이)다. 왜냐하면 ________(이기) 때문이다’라는 은유분석 설문지를 완성하였다. 수집된 은유 표현은 주제에 따라 분석하였다. 결과 연구결과, 유아교육기관에서의 실외놀이에 대한 부모의 인식은 힐링 시간, 유아 삶 자체, 성장의 장, 다양한 경험의 장, 건강의 필요조건, 이중 잣대, 불안전으로 총 7개의 주제로 분류되었다. 결론 유아교육기관에서 실외놀이의 필요성과 가치에 대한 부모의 긍정적인 의미 도출은 2019 개정 누리과정에 맞추어 유아교육기관에서의 실외놀이를 활성화하는데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Objectives The purpose of this study was to explore parents’ perception and meaning of outdoor play in childhood educational institutions through metaphor analysis. Methods For this, 143 parents with young children were selected and an online questionnaire was conducted for them. Parents were completed the metaphorical analysis questionnaire about ‘the outdoor play in early childhood education institution is like _____. Because ________.’ The collected metaphorical expressions were analyzed according to the subject. Results As a result of the study, parents’ perceptions of outdoor play in early childhood education institutions were classified into seven themes: healing time, young children life itself, growth, various experiences, health requirements, and double standards, insecurity. Conclusions It was expected that the derivation of positive meanings of parents about the necessity and value of outdoor play in early childhood education institutions will help to revitalize outdoor play in early childhood education institutions in line with the 2019 revised Nuri curriculum.
