위계적 선형모형을 활용한 중등학교 학교활력 영향요인 탐색

Multi-Level Analysis of Factors Influencing Secondary Schools’ Vitality1)

본 연구는 위계적 선형모형을 활용하여 중등학교 학교활력 영향요인을 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 서울대학교 교육행정연수원의 교육행정지도자과정에 참여한 학교장의 소속교인 총 130개교로 교사 응답 설문지인 총 4,421명의 자료가 분석에 사용되었다. 분석 자료는 SPSS 23.0과 JAMOVI 1.2.25 프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 교사 성별, 총교장경력, 학교 소재지는 학교활력과 상관관계가 없는 것으로 나타나 이를 제외하고 다층분석을 진행하였다. 둘째, 다층분석 결과 교사 배경변인으로 설정한 총교직경력, 현학교경력, 최종학력은 학교활력에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 교사 과정변인으로 설정한 현학교직위와 담임여부는 학교활력에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 학교 수준 과정변인으로 설정한 창의경영 참가여부는 학교활력에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았으나, 창의경영학교 참가유형은 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 학교 과정변인으로 설정한 혁신학교 여부는 학교활력에 영향을 미치지 않은 것으로 나타나, 향후 혁신학교와 학교활력과의 관계를 심층적으로 살펴볼 필요가 있다.

The purpose of this study was to explore factors influencing secondary schools’vitality using a hierarchical linear model. A total of 130 schools participating in the education administration guidance program of Seoul National University s Education administration training institute, a total of 4,421 teacher response questionnaires, were used in the analysis. The analysis was analyzed using SPSS 23.0 and JAMOVI 1.2.25 programs. As a result of the study, first, teacher gender, overall principal career, and school location were not correlated with school vitality, so a multi-level analysis was conducted. Second, as a result of multi-level analysis, it was found that the total teaching career, current school career, and final academic background set as teacher background variables had a significant effect on school vitality. Third, it was found that the current school position and the presence of a homeroom teacher, which were set as teacher process variables, had a significant effect on school vitality. Fourth, participation in creative management, set as a school-level process variable, did not have a significant effect on school vitality, but the type of participation in creative management school was found to have a significant effect. However, it was found that whether or not an innovative school was set as a school curriculum variable did not affect school vitality, and it is necessary to examine the relationship between innovative schools and school vitality in the future.
