Stepping into an era of extreme climate change and deteriorating ecosystems, education for pro-environmental behaviors has become more important than ever. Value-based environmental education allows one to develop an awareness of the consequences of one s actions and to regulate their behavior to inculcate solutions for environmental problems. Ethical, personal, intellectual, moral, and social values are the core categories of values emphasized throughout the value-based environmental education curriculum, which will allow one to observe the changes made by student behaviors, as they adapt their learnings for a better environment.</br></br> Key Words: Value-Based Education, Environmental Ethics, Climate Change, Human Behavior, Environmental Sustainability
