지역아동센터 아동의 차별피해경험이 학교적응에 미치는 영향

The Effects of the being discriminated on School adjustment among children at community child centers: The double-mediation of Depression and Self-esteem

목적 본 연구에서는 지역아동센터를 이용하는 아동의 차별피해경험과 학교적응과의 관계에서 우울과 자아존중감의 이중매개효과를 분석하였다. 방법 이를 위하여 지역아동센터 아동패널데이터 2기 패널의 제4차년도(2017년) 438명을 연구대상으로 하여 분석하였다. 차별피해경험이 학교적응에 미치는 영향에서 우울과 자아존중감의 이중매개효과 분석을 위해 SPSS Macro Process를 사용하였다. 결과 분석결과는 첫째, 차별피해경험은 학교적응에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 차별피해경험은 우울을 매개로 학교적응에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 차별피해경험은 자아존중감을 매개로 학교적응에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 우울과 자아존중감은 차별피해경험이 학교적응에 미치는 영향에서 순차적으로 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 지역아동센터를 이용하는 아동이 학교적응을 위한 실천적 방안에 대해 논하였다.

Objectives The object of this study is to analysis the effects of the being discriminated on school adjustment among children at community child centers with the double -mediation of depression and self-esteem. Methods The study analyzed secondary data of 438 children who had participated in the 4th survey(2017) of the second-term panel of the children panel data at the community child care center. The SPSS Macro Process was used in analyzing the data. Results First, the experience of being discriminated didn’t influence school adjustment. Second, the experience of being discriminated didn’t influence school adjustment by the mediation of depression. Third, he experience of being discriminated didn’t influence school adjustment by the mediation of self-esteem. Fourth, in regard to the double mediation effect of the two mediators in the study model, it was shown that depression and self-esteem had a double mediation effect. Conclusions Based on these results, this study discusses to promote the school adjustment of children attending community child center.
