An experimental study was performed in February-March of 1998, to evaluate microwave exposure from cellularphones which may have a potential influence on the electrophysiologic function of human brain. Double Electroencephalogram(EEG) & Brainstem Auditory Evoked Potential(BAEP) Test were performed in 5 users of the cellular phones when using them and not using them, and a single EEG & BAEP Test in 5 non-user of the cellularphones. Each EEG-recording and BAEP-testing took 40min consisting of 30 min field exposure and lOmin measurement. This study showed no difference in the awake EEGs in terms of spectral power density measures and in the BAEPs in absolute latencies of I, III, V waves between users and non-users of cellular phones.
