본 연구는 중증 장애학생 통합 일반 학교 학생의 중증 지체부자유 학생에 대한 태도를 밝히고자 실시된 조사 연구로서 설문 대상은 중증 장애아가 통합된 학교 초등학교 3곳, 중학교 2곳에서 무선 표집된 초등학교 1학년부터 중학교 3학년까지의 학생 1121명이었다.본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다.첫째, 일반 학생은 학년이 올라갈수록 인지적 요소에서 부정적인 지식과 감정이 높아지며, 특히 중학생의 경우 중증 장애학생과 접촉이 많은 학생이 중증지체부자유 학생에 대한 태도도 부정적으로 나타났다.둘째, 일반 학생의 중증 지체부자유 학생에 대한 태도의 행동적 요소의 차이는 중증 장애 학생을 접촉할 수 있는 기회와 관련이 있으며 하위영역인 개인생활에서 남학생에 비하여 여학생이 긍정적인 태도를 지니고 있다.
This study was purposed to investigate the attitude of peers in inclusive setting toward students with severely multiple and physical disabilities. The participants of this were 1121 students who were from 1 grade to 3 grade at elementary school and middle school that included severe mental retarded, emotional disabilities, and severely multiple and physical disabilities. The questionnaires for this study were two. one of them was by Bak & Budoff(1980), the other was I want to make friends with disabilities by KISE(1997). The results of this study was analyzed grade and sex into two sud-factors of attitude(cognitive and behavioral factors) by two-way ANOVA The conclusions of this study were as follows; First, the higher grade peers had more negative cognitive sub-factor of attitude than the lower grade toward students with severely multiple and physical disabilities. And According to contact experiences, middle school students who had more contact experiences had more negative knowledge and emotional attitude. Second, the contact experiences had influence on behavioral sub-factor of peers of students with severely multiple and physical disabilities in inclusive setting. And According to contact experiences, peers who had more negative attitude in behavioral sub-factor. Therefore, attitude of peers in inclusive setting toward students with severely multiple and physical disabilities was attended by contact experiences with of peer students with disabilities.
