The normal students attitudes toward the students with disabilities, which is the most important in the successful integrated education, were investigated in this study. A survey was conducted for elementary and middle school students (n=371) in B city, and then the tendency of normal students attitudes toward the students with physical disabilities and the factors influencing the attitudes were reviewed. As the results of this study, the followings can be suggested. First, The attitudes of elementary and middle school students were neutral in general and showed inconsistent tendency in the detailed areas such as emotion, activity, and perception. This result presumes the need for corrections in the uncertainty and the unstability of the normal students attitudes toward the students with physical disabilities. Second, The attitudes of the elementary students were more positive than the that of the middle school students. This results suggest that the initiation of the integrated education is more effective in the elementary school than in the middle school. Third, Although there are inconsistency in the detailed areas, it appeared that the male students attitudes was more positive than the female students attitudes. This suggests that the friendship of male students should be used for the successful integrated education. Fourth, the only son or daughter students exhibited more positive attitude toward the students with physical disabilities. This may suggest that these students should be considered primarily in position coupling with the disabled students. Fifth, the effects of book reading and image materials also were considered as the factors affecting the attitude. This results suggests that reevaluation of the up-to-date education in understanding the disabled students is required.
