The relationships of transformational leadership of Chairman perceived by social workers and the Social Capital for Social Workers in Rehabilitation Center - Focused on Empowerment as Mediators

본 연구는 장애인복지관 사회복지사의 사회자본에 관장의 리더십, 사회복지사의 임파워먼트가 어떤 영향을 미치는지 살펴보았다. 또한 사회복지사의 임파워먼트가 관장의 변혁적 리더십과 사회복지사의 사회자본 사이를 매개하는 역할을 하는지에 대해 살펴보았다. 본 연구는 수도권 소재 장애인복지관에 근무하는 사회복지사 149명을 대상으로 조사하여 작성된 설문지를 분석하였다. 수집된 자료는 확인적 요인분석과 구조방정식 모형분석을 위하여 AMOS 7.0을 사용하였으며, 기술통계 등을 분석하기 위해 SPSS 15.0을 사용하였다. 연구결과, 관장의 변혁적 리더십은 사회복지사의 사회자본에 유의한 직접적 영향을 주지 않았고 사회복지사의 임파워먼트를 통해 간접적으로 영향을 주었다. 사회복지사의 임파워먼트는 관장의 변혁적 리더십과 사회복지사의 사회자본 사이를 매개하는 역할을 하는 것으로 확인할 수 있다. 본 연구결과를 통해 장애인복지관 사회복지사들의 사회자본에 대한 매개 요인으로 임파워먼트의 중요성이 부각되었다. 사회복지사들의 사회자본을 증진시키기 위해 관장의 변혁적 리더십을 개발하고 훈련하는 것이 필요함은 물론이고, 사회복지사들의 임파워먼트에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 의사결정의 참여, 사회복지사들에게 비전을 제시해 줄 수 있는 관리자들의 사고 전환 등이 더욱 요구된다.

This study aims to examine the relations between social capital for social workers and transformational leadership of chairman, and to examine social capital for social workers in rehabilitation center mediate between transformational leadership of chairman and social capital for social workers. Statistical analysis was performed according to AMOS 7.0 for factor analysis and Structural Equation Modeling. The SPSS 15.0 for Windows was used to analyze data for descriptive statistics. As the result, we came to know that the empowerment work perfectly as a mediating effects between the transformational leadership and social capital. Through this survey, the importance of empowerment as a effect on social capital was emphasized. Chairmans are required to develop his transformational leadership and discipline to reinforce the social worker s social capital. In addition, the participation in decision-making which effect on social worker s empowerment and manager s change of mind which can give vision to social workers are more required.
