후천적 장애인의 관광활동 단계 및 장애유형에 따른 제약과 만족분석

Comparative Analysis of Tourism Constraints and Satisfaction According to the Types of Disability and Stages of Tourism Activities

본 연구는 장애수용 과정에서 관광활동단계와 장애유형에 따른 제약요인과 만족도의 차이를 밝히고자 하였다. 연구목적 수행을 위해 지체, 시각, 청각장애인 392명을 분석하였다. 연구결과 장애수용 정도에 따른 관광활동 단계는 1~5단계로 분류하였으며, 장애인의 관광제약요인은 개인ㆍ심리적 제약, 상호적 제약, 경제적 제약, 환경적 제약으로 분류하였다. 관광활동 단계별 제약요인 차이는 흥미, 기술부족, 부정적 시선 항목으로 구성된 개인ㆍ심리적 제약과 상호적 제약 중 신체적 제약, 자원봉사자 부족, 종사원 서비스 부적절 항목에서만 차이가 나타났다. 장애유형별 제약요인 차이는 상호적 제약과 경제적 제약에서 각 집단별 차이가 나타났다. 관광활동 단계에 따른 만족도는 1단계에 비해 3~5단계 집단의 평균이 높게 나타났다. 연구결과는 장애인 관광활동의 제약요인을 완화하기 위해 관광사업체의 종사원 교육과 장애인의 관광접근성 완화를 위한 정부차원의 지원이 필요함을 제안하였으며, 사회복지 차원에서 문제해결을 위한 시사점을 제시할 것이다.

This study is to analyze differences between tourism constraints and satisfaction according to the types of disability and stages of tourism activities. To achieve this purpose, the data was collected from 392 people with disabilities with a physical, visual and auditory disability. As the result, tourism activities are divided from stage 1 to 5. There were four factors of tourism constraints; personal and psychological constraint, interpersonal constraint, economical constraint, structural constraint. In analyzing the data by stages of tourism activities, there was significant differences in personal and psychological constraint such as the lack of interest and skill and negative sights. And also interpersonal constraints such as physical constraint, the lack of volunteer and inappropriated service were different. In analyzing the data by types of disability, there were significant differences in interpersonal and economical constraint. Satisfactory average of stage 3, 4 and 5 was higher than stage 1. This study will give some understandings and suggestions to promote tourism activities for people with disabilities.
