가족 관련 변인이 일반학교 장애아동의 우울에 미치는 영향

The Family Factors Influenced on the Depression of School Aged Children with Disabilities

본 연구는 장애아동의 우울에 영향을 미치는 가족과 관련된 변인을 탐색하여 장애아동의우울과 관련된 중재의 기초자료로 사용하고자 시도되었다. 연구대상은 U지역에 소재한 일반학급에 통합된 장애아동으로 설문지를 작성할 정도의 인지수준이 되는 학생과 부모를 대상으로 하였으며, 총 64쌍이었다. 수집된 자료는 연구목적에 따라 빈도와 백분율, 피어슨 상관관계, 다변량분석을 통해 분석하였다. 연구결과 장애아동의 우울에 영향을 미치는 가족 관련 변인으로 부모교육, 부모직업, 월수입, 부모의 우울이었으며, 이들 변인이 장애아동의 우울을 설명하는 변량은 29.9%이었다. 특히 부모의 우울이 장애아동의 우울에 가장 큰 영향력을 미치는 요인으로 밝혀졌다. 따라서 장애아동의 우울과 같은 정신건강을 교육하고 중재하는 치료자는 장애아동 뿐만아니라 아동의 부모를 함께 포함하여 중재를 할 필요가 있다. 특히 부모와 장애아동의 관계를 면밀히 파악하여 부모-자녀 관계가 긍정적인 관계가 될 수 있도록 도울 필요가 있다. 이후 좀 더 많은 장애아동과 부모를 대상으로 우울 연구를 확대 수행할 것을 제안하며, 이를바탕으로 장애아동과 가족의 정신건강에 대한 정책과 지원이 모색되어야겠다.

This study was to explore the factors affecting depression of children with disabilities to obtain baseline data of intervention on depression of children with disabilities. Subjects were recruited 64 pairs of parents and children with disability from 54 elementary schools in U province Data were analyzed by using frequency, percentage, relation and multiple regressions. As a result, there were significant differences in the depression of children by parent education, job of parent, monthly income, and depression factor of parents, which the most significant variable is parents’ depression that explained 29.9% of them. So, when the program educating about mental health such as depression of child with disabilities was planned, it should included not only the depression of child but also those of parents in program contents. Especially the relationship of child and parents was examined closely to make more therapeutic relationship. We recommend further research recruited more subjects to looking for mental health related support policies for Children with Disabilities and their parents.
