뇌성마비아동과 일반아동의 어휘다양도 비교 연구

Comparative Study on Word Diversity of Children with Cerebral Palsy and Normal Children

뇌성마비아동이 이야기를 산출함에 있어서 다양한 어휘를 사용하는지를 알아보기 위하여 일반아동과의 이야기 다시 말하기 과제를 통해 전체낱말수, 다른낱말수, 품사별 전체낱말수, 품사별 다른낱말수를 비교하였다. 연구 대상은 8~10세 뇌성마비아동 7명과 언어연령을 일치시킨 일반아동 7명, 아동들이 산출한 이야기 자료는 C-unit 단위로 정리한 후 전체낱말수, 다른낱말수, 품사별 전체낱말수, 품사별 다른낱말수를 분석하였다. 연구 결과 뇌성마비아동은 전체낱말수와 다른낱말수에서 언어연령 일치 일반아동에 비하여 더 적게 산출하였고, 두 집단은 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보이지는 않았다. 품사별 전체낱말수에서 뇌성마비아동은 언어연령 일치 일반아동에 비하여 모든 품사에서 더 적게 산출하였고, 특히 대명사와 수사에서는 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 품사별 다른낱말수에서 뇌성마비아동은 언어연령 일치 일반아동에 비하여 모든 품사에서 더 적게 산출하였으며, 특히 수사에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다.

In order to identify the amount of the production of diverse words in the narrative of children with cerebral palsy and normal children, by the method of story-retelling, the number of total words(NTW), number of different words (NDW), and NTW and NDW depending on word class were examined. For this study, 7 children with cerebral palsy at the age of 8~10 and same number of normal children with same language ability of 8~10 years old were compared. The production data were arranged by C-unit classification method before analysing NTW, NDW, NTW and NDW depending on word class. This study shows that the children with cerebral palsy produce less than normal children do in NTW and NDW. And there was no statistically significant differences between the two groups. As for NTW depending on word class,children with cerebral palsy produce less than normal children in every word class and there was a statistically significant differences especially in pronoun and numeral between the two groups. As for NDW depending on word class,children with cerebral palsy produce less than normal children in every word class and there was a significant differences especially in numeral.
