학교교육과정과 연계한 장애이해 교육프로그램이 비장애학생의 장애학생 수용태도에 미치는 영향

Effects of the Educational Program Designed to Understand the Disability in Conjunction with School Curriculum on the Attitudes of the Students without Disabilities toward Accepting the Students with Disabilities

이 연구는 학교교육과정과 연계한 장애이해 프로그램이 비장애학생의 장애학생에 대한 수용태도 변화를 알아보기 위한 연구이다. 교과활동, 재량활동, 특별활동 등과 같은 학교교육과정과 연계한 장애이해 교육프로그램을 구안하여 초등학교 6학년 통합학급 학생에게 적용했을 때 비장애학생의 장애학생에 대한 수용태도가 어떻게 변화하였는지 알아보고자 하였다. 이 연구의 대상은 경기도 화성시의 B초등학교 6학년 학생 60명(실험집단 30명, 통제집단 30명)을 대상으로 실시하였다. 프로그램 실시 전과 후에 실험집단과 통제집단의 장애학생에 대한 수용태도 검사를 실시하여 프로그램의 효과 크기 검증, 대응표본 t-검증을 실시하였다. 프로그램 실시 후 두 집단 간에는 유의미한 차이가 있었고 효과 크기 검증에서 학교교육과정과 연계한 장애이해 교육프로그램의 효과가 검증 되었다. 수용태도 각 영역의 세부 항목들을 분석한 결과 모든 항목들이 사전과 사후를 비교했을 때 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 따라서 비장애학생의 장애학생에 대한 긍정적인 수용태도가 형성되도록 장애이해교육이 꼭 필요하며, 통합교육 현장에서는 학교교육과정과 연계한 다양한 장애이해교육을 지속적이고 체계적으로 실시하여야 한다.

This research is to understand how the disability comprehension program, that is associated with the school curriculum, changes the non-disabled students’attitude towards the disabled students. We wanted to know how the disability comprehension program, very similar to curriculum activities, discretionary activities, and extracurricular, changes the students’ attitude towards the disabled students when the program is applied to 6th grade integrated class. The subject of this research is sixty 6th graders at ‘B’ elementary school in Hwaseong,Gyeonggi. Comparing the before and the after of the program, we verified the effectiveness of the(experimental group: 30students, control group: 30students)program and performed the paired sample-t validation. When each specific area before and after the program is compared, the everyday life, the assistance activities, the educational activities, and the fellowship activities statistically showed significant changes from the biggest to the smallest respectively. Ergo, to form a positive attitude from the non-disabled students towards the disabled students, we must conduct the program. And in the field of integrated education, a disorder comprehension program associated with the school curriculum should be carried out continuously and systematically.
