특수학급 교사의 교사 효능감과 교수적 수정 실행의 관계

The Relation between Teaching Efficacy and Implementation of Instructional Adaptation in Teachers‘ of Special Classes

본 연구의 목적은 장애학생이 통합학급이 아닌 특수학급 내에서 수준에 맞는 개별화된 교육을 제공받기 위해 교사들이 교수적 수정을 제대로 실행하고 있는지를 살펴보기 위해 이와 상관이 높을 것으로 예상되는 교사 효능감의 수준을 함께 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 부산·경남의 특수학급에 재직 중인 82명의 특수학급 교사들을 대상으로 설문조사하였고 그 자료를 t검증, F검증, 상관분석하였다. 연구결과는 특수학급 교사의 교사 효능감 전반적인 수준은 비교적 높은 수준이었으며, 장애 학생 지도에 필요한 대인관계에 대한 효능감이 가장 높고 학생 관리에 대한 효능감이 가장 낮게 나타났다. 그리고 특수학급 교사의 교수적 수정 실행도 역시 높은 수준이었으며 교육 내용의 수정 실행도가 가장 높고, 평가 방법에 대한 수정 실행도가 가장 낮았다. 마지막으로, 특수학급 교사의 교사 효능감과 교수적 수정 실행도는 높은 정적 상관을 가지고 있었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 장애학생에게 제대로 된 교육을 제공할 수 있는 특수학급으로서의 역할을 강조하기 위해 특수학급 교사의 교수적 수정의 중요성을 강조하는 동시에 특수교사의 효능감을 증진시킴으로써 교수적 수정을 활성화하는 것이 도움이 될 것이라고 시사하였다.

This study aims to investigate teachers in special classes teching efficacies and implementation of instructional adaptation which are factors to determine the quality of instructional practices, and to find out a correlation between them. In order to verify these research problems, special education teachers in special classes of elementary, middle and high schools located in Busan and Kyung-nam Province, were randomly selected and total 82 questionnaires were sent out to them. For extracting research findings, they were analyzed using T-test, F-test and correlation analysis. The followings are the final results of this study; Firstly, overall, teaching efficacies of special education teachers were higher than the average. And there were significant differences depending on age, work experience and types of educational institutions. Secondly, special education teachers implementation of instructional adaptation was higher than the average. And there were slight differences depending on age, work experience, and types of schools and educational institutions. Thirdly, according to the correlation analysis of the relation between special education teachers teaching efficacies and implementation of instructional adaptation, there was a statistically positive correlation between them.
