뇌성마비 아동의 기능 수준, 어머니의 양육스트레스, 가족 환경 간의 관계에 대한 경로 분석

Path analysis of the Relationship between Functional Level, Maternal Stress, and Family Environment in Children with Cerebral Palsy

이 연구는 뇌성마비 아동 80명을 대상으로 뇌성마비 아동의 기능 수준과 어머니의 양육 스트레스, 가족 환경과의 인과관계를 경로분석을 통해 알아보았다. 이를 위해 아동용 일상생활활동 평가를 이용하여 기능 수준을 평가하고, 한국판 부모 양육 스트레스 검사를 이용하여 어머니의 양육 스트레스를 평가하고, 한국 가족환경척도를 이용하여 가족 환경을 평가한 자료를 분석에 활용하였다. 그 결과 뇌성마비 아동의 기능수준이 어머니의 양육 스트레스를 통해 가족의 환경에 영향을 미치고, 어머니의 양육 스트레스는 가족 환경에 영향을 미칠 것이라 가정한 모델은 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 뇌성마비 아동의 기능 수준은 어머니의 양육 스트레스에 유의한 직접 효과를 보였으며, 어머니의 양육 스트레스는 가족 환경에 유의한 직접 효과를 보였다. 또한 뇌성마비 아동의 기능 수준은 가족 환경에 유의한 간접 효과를 보였다. 이 연구는 뇌성마비 아동의 기능 수준, 어머니의 양육 스트레스, 가족 환경 간의 관계를 경로 분석을 통해 규명하였다는데 의의가 있다. 이 연구의 결과는 뇌성마비 아동의 가족 지원 프로그램을 구성하는데 기초자료로 활용될 수 있으리라 생각되며, 앞으로의 연구에서는 뇌성마비 아동 가족 환경에 영향을 미치는 다양한 요인들 간의 관계라 규명되는 것이 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between functional level, maternal stress, family environment in children with cerebral palsy (CP) using the path model analysis and to test the models of family function mediated by maternal stress. Eighty children with CP were recruited for this cross-sectional study. The functional level of children with CP was assessed through WeeFIM. Maternal stress and family environment was measured using Korean Parenting Stress Index and Family Environment Scale-Korean in children with CP and their parents. The data were analyzed to examine the causal relationship and to investigate the model fit using path model. The proposed model path showed good fit indices. The direct effect significant between functional level and maternal stress and maternal stress and family environment. The functional level had a significant positive indirect effect on family environment through effects on maternal stress. The maternal stress is important for improving family environment in children with CP. Also, functional level is important factor in reducing the maternal stress in children with CP. Intervention that take into account the functional level and maternal stress may increase family environment.
