장애아동재활치료사의 전문성과 직무만족에 관한 연구

A study on the Rehabilitation Therapists’ Professionalism and Job Satisfaction

본 연구는 장애인복지관, 민간사설치료기관, (재활)병원 등에서 근무하고 있는 다양한 분야의 재활치료사를 대상으로 그들이 인지하고 있는 전문성과 직무만족도를 파악하고, 재활치료사의 전문성이 직무만족에 미치는 영향력을 살펴보고자 하였다. 분석결과 재활치료사의 직무만족은 치료사업무에 대한 흥미와 동료에 대한 만족도는 높았으나 낮은 보수와 승진의 제한, 이직에 대한 고려 등에 대해서는 낮은 만족을 보였다. 또한 재활치료사의 직무만족은 치료사의 개인적 특성과 분야에 따라서도 차이를 보였으며, 재활치료사의 전문성은 직무만족에 긍정적인 영향을 나타내는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구결과를 통해 재활치료사의 근무환경 개선을 통한 직무만족의 필요성이 제기되고 있으며, 재활치료사의 전문성 확보를 위한 정책적 대안 모색이 요청되고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

This study was primarily to investigate the degree of professionalism and job satisfaction they perceived and examine the effects of professionalism on job satisfaction among rehabilitation therapists. Results of this study indicated that their job satisfaction on work interest and peer relationship was high. However, the degree of satisfaction in terms of rewards, promotion, changing job was relatively low. It also revealed that rehabilitation therapists’ professionalism was highly and positively correlated with their job satisfaction. Based on the results of data analysis, this study also recommended some of schemes to improve rehabilitation therapists’ professionalism and job satisfaction.
