병원학교 파견 특수교사들이 인식한 병원학교 운영의 어려움과 교육지원에 대한 요구 분석

Teachers Perception on Difficulties and Educational Supports for Students with Health impairment in the School in Hospital

이 연구는 건강장애학생의 학습권을 지원하기 위해 설립된 병원학교의 운영에 있어서 어려움과 그에 따른 교육적 지원 방안을 알아보기 위해 수행되었다. 이 연구의 참여자는 병원학교에 실제 근무한 교사들을 대상으로 하였으며, 반구조화된 질문지를 활용한 면담을 통해 이루어졌다. 구체적인 연구 결과로는 먼저 병원학교의 설립 목적이 실현되기에는 여러 가지 현실적 어려움이 있었으며, 특히 교사 자원의 부족, 개별학생의 학습 참여율 저조, 병원관계자 및 원적학교와 협력체제 유지의 어려움 등이 제시되었다. 이에 따른 교육지원 방안으로는 병원학교 교사 자원을 학교급에 따라 배치하고, 학생들의 학습 참여율 제고를 위해 원적학교와 가정이 함께하는 다양한 심리적 지원 프로그램 운영, 그리고 병원학교 관계 기관의 역할과 의무를 명시적으로 제시하여야 하며, 병원학교 교사의 역량을 강화하기 위한 연수프로그램이 제공되어야 할 것이다.

This study was carried out to examine the educational difficulties in the operation of the school in hospital established for supporting the learning right of students with health impairment and the related educational supports. The object of this study was teachers who has actually worked in the school in hospital and this study was performed through the interview using the semi-structured questionnaire and the analysis for the contents of interview. Particular results of study were that various actual difficulties existed in relation with the realization of the establishment purpose of the school in hospital, including especially insufficiency of teacher resources, low level of the participation rate in learning by individual students, and difficulty in maintaining the cooperative system with the concerned person related with hospital and the school belonged to the hospital. The methods for supporting education must include the arrangement of teacher resources of the school in hospital according to school(class), the establishment of the video learning system between the school in hospital and the school belonged to the hospital to expand the students opportunity of participating in learning and the implementation of this system through itinerant education. In addition, various psychological support program must be operated with the cooperation with home. For the purpose, the role and the obligations of the institutes related with the school in hospital must be specified and the training programs must be provided to enforce the capacity of teachers who work for the school in hospital.
