Analysis of Developing Cultural Competency Factor for Persons with Disabilities

본 연구의 목적은 장애인을 위한 문화적 역량 척도를 개발하며 적용하는 것이다. 이에 한국형 문화적 역량 척도를 개발한 이병준(2008)의 연구를 토대로 하였다. 본 연구의 목적 달성을 위하여 기술통계, 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도 검사, 확인적 요인 분석을 통해 자료처리 하였으며, 탐색적 요인분석 결과, 3개의 요인(문화예술 공통역량, 문화적 역량, 예술적 역량) 22개 문항이 최종적으로 나타났다. 이에 추출된 3개의 요인들을 대상으로 요인구조의 적합성을 알아보기 위해 확인적 요인분석을 실시한 결과 .9이상이면 적합한 평가기준에 부합하는 연구결과를 도출하였다. 또한 심리적 안녕감의 예측변수로서 영향력은 추출된 3개의 요인들을 대상으로 요인구조의 적합성을 알아보기 위해 확인적 요인분석을 실시한 결과 .9이상이면 적합한 평가기준에 부합하는 연구결과를 도출하였다. 또한 심리적 안녕감의 예측변수로서 영향력은 문화예술 공통역량에서 유의미한 결과가 나타났으며, 이에 본 연구의 결과는 장애인을 위한 문화적 역량 척도의 개발과 함께 삶의 만족에 대한 예측을 제시하여 실제 장애인의 문화적 역량 심리분석 척도로서 적용에 기여 할 것으로 사료된다.

The purpose of this study was to apply Cultural Competency Scale for the Physical Disabilities(CCSPD) by Lee, Byung-Jun(2008) s Cultural Competency scales. The subjects consisted of 493 students with physical disabilities from special schools and welfare facilities. After conducting content validity and pilot study, in order to get a final version of the CCSPD, explanatory factor analysis, internal consistency and stability analysis, and confirmatory factor analysis were used for the statistical procedures of the study. The result of explanatory factor analysis showed that the CCSPD was composed of 3 factors(culture art common competencies, Cultural competencies artistic competencies.) and 14 items. The reliability estimates for internal consistency in each factor were .643-.811 and intra-rater reliability was high for each rater s scores which indicated a high stability and consistency of scoring. Also, according to the result of confirmatory factor analysis, the index values which were greater than .9 reflected an acceptable fit model. The evidences of predictive validity were obtained from correlation, simple regression, and standard multiple regression analyses using students psychological well-being scale scores as the criterion. These results may contribute to the development of a Cultural Competency Scale and application of predictive on life of satisfaction to psychology analysis scale for the Physical Disabilities.
