장애학생의 공감능력과 사회적 능력의 관계

Relationship between Empathy Abilities and Social Abilities of Adolescents with Disabilities

본 연구는 장애학생의 공감능력과 사회적 능력의 관계를 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 일반학교 특수학급과 특수학교의 중고등부에 재학 중인 장애학생 92명을 대상으로 연구조사를 실시하였으며, 본 연구의 목적에 따른 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 장애학생의 공감능력은 성별에 따라 공감적 각성이 유의미한 차이를 보였으며, 재학상황에 따라 관점 취하기, 전체 인지적 공감, 전체 공감능력이 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 학교급과 장애유형에 따른 공감능력은 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 그리고 장애학생의 사회적 능력은 학교 급에 따라 주도성, 인기도가 유의미한 차이를 보였으며, 재학상황에 따라 주도성, 인기도, 전체 사회적 능력, 사교성, 대인적응성이 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 장애유형에 따라 사교성, 사회참여도, 인기도와 전체 사회적 능력이 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 성별에 따른 사회적 능력은 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 둘째, 장애학생의 공감능력과 사회적 능력의 상관분석 결과, 대인적응성과 상상하기, 사회 참여도와 공감적 각성, 사회참여도와 전체 정서적 공감, 인기도와 공감적 작성은 유의미한 상관을 나타내지 않았다. 그러나 사회적 능력과 공감능력의 하위변인들 간의 관계는 뚜렷한 상관관계를 나타냈다. 셋째, 장애학생의 공감능력은 사회적 능력에 유의미한 영향을 미치고 있으며, 전체 공감능력과 인지적 공감능력인 관점 취하기는 사회적 능력 중 사교성을 예측하는데 중요한 변인임을 알수 있었다. 그리고 장애학생의 공감능력은 대인적응성, 사회참여도, 주도성, 인기도와 전체 사회적 능력에 유의미한 영향을 미치고 있으며, 관점 취하기는 사회적 능력 중 대인적응성, 사회참여도, 주도성, 인기도와 전체 사회적 능력을 예측하는데 중요한 변인임을 알 수 있었다. 이와 같은 결과는 장애학생의 원만한 학교생활을 가능하게 하는 공감능력과 사회적 능력은 매우 관계가 높으며, 사회적 능력을 향상시키기 위해서는 관점 취하기와 같은 인지적 공감에 대한 이해가 필요하고 이를 내면화해야 함을 시사하는 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between empathy and social abilities of adolescents with disabilities. The method of this study was the questionnaires. This study was to investigate the differences in empathy and social ability, and the relationship between empathy and social ability, to analyze the impact on a empathy ability conflict social ability. The participants in this study were 92 adolescents with disabilities studying in general schools and special schools in P City. According to the purpose of this study results are as follows. First, differences in empathy were significant differences according to gender and class type. There were not significant differences in their school level, disabilities s type. Differences in social ability were found between showed significant differences according to school level, disabilities s type and class type. There were not significant differences in their gender. Second, there were not significant relationships in their empathy and social ability on some variables. But there were obvious relationships in variables on empathy and social ability. Third, as result of the multiple regression analysis, the significant variables which affect empathy ability s variables were social ability
