휠체어 사용인의 문학작품을 통한 삶의 경험에 대한 고찰

The Study about Wheelchair Users Experiences through their Literature Works

본 연구는 휠체어 사용인의 관련 문학 내용을 분석하고 휠체어 사용인의 삶의 경험을 조명함을 목적으로 수행되었다. 본 연구는 휠체어 사용자의 삶을 다룬 52권의 문학작품을 선정하여 휠체어에 대한 인식, 휠체어 사용인의 현재 생활환경, 휠체어 사용인이 바라는 환경이라는 총 3가지 주제영역에서 분석을 하였으며 문학작품의 내용은 연구보조원을 포함 3명이 삼각검증을 통하여 검증하였다. 이 연구의 결과, 첫째, 휠체어에 대한 인식이 71%로 가장 만이 언급되어 있으며 휠체어 사용인은 휠체어를 다리 역할, 생활의 필수품, 삶의 희망, 친구, 생명, 분신 등으로 인식하나. 비장애인들은 휠체어에 대하여 지나치게 관심을 가지거나, 방해물, 유모차와 같은 것으로 생각한다. 둘째, 휠체어 사용인의 현재 생활환경은 40%의 문학작품에서 언급이 되었으며 가장 적게 언급되었다. 비장애인과 같이 계절에 상관없이 생활하고 싶은 욕구와 경험들이 있었고 휠체어 안전은 증가하는 전동 휠체어에서 사고 경험이 많고 혼자 있을 때는 비상시 연락처 대처법, 훈련이 필요함이 요구되었다. 셋째, 휠체어 사용인이 바라는 환경은 65%의 문학에서 언급이 되며 사회의 배려와 기회균등, 법률제정과 첨단 휠체어 개발, 편의시설 확충을 바라고 있었다. 본 연구에서는 위 결과를 논의하여 결론을 제시하였다.

The purpose of the study was to prospect people with disabilities through their literature works which contents applied directly to their lives. 52 literature dealing with wheelchair users life was selected, analyzed by recognition about the wheelchair, life style of wheelchair users, and needed environment for wheelchair users,The findings of the study were as follows:First, there was 71% of literature deal with recognition of wheelchair, people with disabilities considered their wheelchairs as their own legs, necessities of life, and hope. Second, 40% of literature deal with current life style with wheelchair, Wheelchair users want to live like a non-disabled people s daily life They want to have outside activity regardless of bad weather, and they need emergency manual, safety training while wheelchair driving. Third, 65% of literature deal with needed environment for wheelchair users. They wanted to equal opportunity, social care, developing of high technology wheelchair, and accomodations of social facilities. researcher discussed by result of this study.
