장애연금 수급자의 장애정도와 직업활동의 관계

The Relationship between Degree of Disability and Job Engagement among the Disability Pension Recipients : Focused on the Mediating Effect of Rehabilitation Service Experience

본 연구는 장애연금 수급자의 장애정도와 직업활동과의 관계에서 재활서비스 이용경험의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 국민연금공단에서 구축한 장애연금 수급자의 재활실태 및 욕구조사 자료를 활용하여 국민연금의 장애연금 수급자 2,034명을 대상으로 수집된 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 다수의 인구사회학적 요인들을 통제한 상태에서도 장애연금 수급자의 장애정도는 직업활동에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타났다. 둘째, 장애연금 수급자의 장애정도와 직업활동과의 관계에서 각각의 의료재활서비스와 사회재활서비스 이용경험의 완전매개효과가 검증되었다. 즉 장애연금 수급자의 의료재활서비스나 사회재활서비스 이용경험이 이들의 직업활동에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 요인들로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 근거로 장애연금 수급자의 직업활동을 향상시키기 위한 정책적 제언과 후속연구과제를 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of rehabilitation service experience in the relationship between degree of disability and job engagement among the disability pension recipients. Using the data of The Disability Pension Recipients Rehabilitation Status and Needs Survey , this study included 2,034 disability pension recipients enrolled in NPS. As a result, first, this study found that after controling for a number of socio-demographic variables, the disability pension recipient s degree of disability had a negative effect on the job engagement. Second, each of the medical and social rehabilitation service experiences showed its mediating effect in the relationship between degree of disability and job engagement. That is, each of these experiences among the disability pension recipients had a positive effect on the job engagement. Implications for policy and future research for improving the job engagement of the disability pension recipients were suggested.
