본 연구는 지체장애 학생의 관련 변인(성별, 학년별, 장애유형별, 부모의 경제상태별)에 따라 장애학생의 건강증진행위는 어떠한지를 알아보기 위하여 전국 10개의 지체장애 특수학교에서 지체장애로 진단받은 학생 262명을 대상으로 건강증진행위와 관련하여 설문조사를 실시하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 지체장애 학생은 식습관 조사에서 동물성 지방 섭취 절제 정도에서 성별과 학년별로 유의한 차이를 나타내었으며, 운동행위 중에서 짧은 거리 도보 정도와 준비운동 및 정리운동을 실시하는 정도는 학년별로, 식후 1시간 후 운동 정도는 학년별과 장애유형별, 부모의 경제상태별로, 1시간 이상 운동은 장애유형별 유의한 차이를 나타내었다. 개인위생행위 중 화장실 다녀온 후 손 씻기, 머리감기와 목욕하기에서 학년과 부모의 경제상태 따라 유의한 차이를 나타내었다.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors affecting health promotion behaviors in students with physical disabilities. Two hundreds sixty two students with physical disabilities of 10 special education schools were surveyed about health promotion behaviors and the affecting factors. Female students showed significantly high score compared to male students, and elementary school students showed significantly high score compared to middle and high school students in animal fat intake restriction. There were significant differences in the scores of walking behaviors and warming up and down, exercise one hour after meal, exercise over one hour between elementary-middle-high school students groups. There were significant differences in the score of exercise one hour after meal, exercise over one hour between physical disability group and disability of brain lesion group, and there were significant differences of the score of exercise one hour after meal according to the economic status. There were significant differences in the score of washing hands after going to the toilet and shampoo and bath between elementary-middle-high school students groups and between economic status. The factors affecting health promoting behaviors from this study should be considered in the development of the health promoting programs for students with physical disabilities.
