건강장애학생을 위한 병원학교 운영 지원체계의 타당화 연구

A Validation Study of the Hospital School Management Support System for Students with Health Impairments

2005년 건강장애가 법적으로 특수교육 대상에 포함되면서 병원학교는 건강장애학생들에게 매우 중요한 교육지원 방법의 하나가 되었다. 본 연구는 병원학교가 건강장애학생의 학업의 연계성, 심리·정서적 안정 및 치료효과 증진을 위해 효율적으로 운영될 수 있도록 병원학교 운영 지원체계의 구성요소를 추출하고 수정된 델파이 기법 및 설문조사를 통해 지원체계를 타당화하였다. 본 연구 결과 타당화된 병원학교 운영 지원체계는 인적자원 관리 체계화 및 전문가 간 협력 촉진 15개, 가족지원 체제 구축 7개, 교육과정 운영의 효율화 21개, 병원학교의 행·재정적 운영체계의 효율화 10개, 교육 환경 구성 8개 등 총 5개 범주 61개 항목으로 구성되었다. 또한 지원체계에 대한 사회적 타당도 검증 결과 전문가와 학부모 전체 집단은 병원학교 운영 지원체계의 5개 범주 모두를 중요하게 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 연구 결과 도출된 지원체계의 구성요소들은 프로그램 개발 내용들과 정책적 차원에서 개발해야 하는 지침과 기준을 제시하고 있어 향후 이 분야의 학문과 정책 발전에 중요한 기초를 마련하였다고 본다.

Since The Special Education Promotion Act Amendments of 2005 has included health impairments, the hospital school has become one of the most important education support system for students with health impairments. This study investigated the quality component factors of the management support system of the hospital school to improve educational, psychological and emotional services for students with health impairments and validated the support system by using the adapted Delpi method and the survey. The result of the present study revealed that the validated management support system of the hospital school was composed of 5 categories and 61 items, including systematic human resource management and facilitation of professional collaboration(15 items), establishing family support system(7 items), efficient implementation of curriculum(21 items), streamlining administrative and financial management of the hospital school(10 items), and structuring educational environment(8 items). Moreover, it turned out that all of the professional and parent groups acknowledged the importance of the 5 categories of the hospital school management support system, according to the result of the social validity. The component factors of the support system validated through this study provided the guidelines and standards for the educational policy development. Thus, this study will contribute to establish the foundation of the further development in the area of this study and policy development.
