장애연금 수급자의 환경적 제약이 장애수용도에 미치는 영향

The Effect of Environmental Restriction on the Acceptance of Disability among the Disability Pension Recipients : Focused on the Moderating Effect of Social Participation

본 연구는 국민연금의 장애연금 수급자를 대상으로 환경적 제약이 장애수용도에 미치는 영향에 있어서 사회참여의 조절효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 국민연금공단에서 구축한 ‘재활능력 평가도구 개발 설문조사’ 자료를 활용하여 국민연금의 장애연금 수급자 880명을 대상자로 하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 환경적 제약 요인들(물리적 제약, 사회적 제약, 태도적 제약) 중 물리적 제약과 장애연금 수급자의 장애수용도의 관계에서 사회참여의 조절효과가 검증되었다. 비록 물질적 제약이 클지라도 사회참여는 물리적 제약이 장애수용도에 미치는 부정적 영향을 완충해주는 변수로 나타났다. 연구결과를 근거로 장애연금 수급자의 장애수용도를 향상시키기 위한 정책적, 실천적 제언과 후속연구에 대한 과제를 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the moderating effect of social participation in the relationship between environmental restriction and the acceptance of disability among the disability pension recipients. Using the data of Survey for Developing Rehabilitation Assessment Tool built by National Pension Service(NPS) , this study included 880 disability pension recipients enrolled in NPS. As a result, social participation showed its moderating effect in the relationship between physical restriction among the three environmental restriction factors (physical restriction, social restriction, attitudinal restriction) and acceptance of disability. That is, social participation buffered the negative impact of physical restriction on the acceptance of disability among the person with acquired disability. Implications for policy, practice, and future research for improving the acceptance of disability of the person with acquired disability were suggested.
