건강장애학생의 적응유연성 척도 개발을 위한 기초 연구

The Primary Study for Development of Resilience Scale of Students with Chronic Illness

본 연구는 건강장애학생의 적응유연성을 측정할 수 있는 도구를 개발하고 신뢰도와 타당성을 확인하는데 목적이 있다. 문헌분석을 통해 적응유연성 구성요인을 지지특성, 자아특성, 역량특성의 3개 특성으로 설정하고 153개의 예비 문항을 추출하였다. 이를 전문가 집단의 내용타당도 검증을 거쳐 문항을 수정, 제거, 첨가하는 과정을 거쳐 3개 특성, 16개 하위요인, 총 61문항으로 구성되는 예비 척도를 구안하였다. 각 특성에 따른 하위요인으로 지지특성은 가족지지, 사회지지, 또래지지, 교사지지의 4개 요인, 자아특성은 긍정적 자기이해, 낙관성, 친밀성, 목표지향성, 질환수용, 종교의 6개 요인, 역량특성은 학교생활참여, 교우관계조절, 자립성, 자기통제력, 질환관리, 문제해결력의 6개 요인의 총 16개 요인이었다. 척도의 신뢰도 및 타당화를 검증하기 위해 전국 병원학교에 재적 중이거나 화상강의시스템을 수강 중인 학생, 퇴원 후 가정에서 요양 중이면서 정기적 외래진료를 받고 있는 학생, 원적학교에 복귀한 건강장애학생 455명을 대상으로 2011년 12월부터 2012년 8월까지 약 8개월 간 조사하였다. 수집된 자료를 문항-총점 간 상관 및 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 지지특성은 가족지지, 학교지지, 지역사회지지의 3개 요인, 자아특성은 긍정, 자아존중감, 희망의 3개 요인, 역량특성은 학교생활참여, 자아통제력의 2개 하위요인의 8개 하위요인으로 구성되는 총 40문항의 최종 척도를 구안하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 적응유연성 척도는 문항 내적합치도가 높아 신뢰도가 입증되었고, 하위요인 간 상관이 높아 타당성이 확보되었다. 이로써 건강장애학생의 적응유연성을 평가하는데 유용한 도구로써 적합하다는 점이 확인되었으며, 후속연구에서 적응유연성 척도의 타당성을 검증할 수 있기를 제언하였다.

The purpose of this study was to develop the resilience scale of chronic illness students and to examine its reliability and validity. The resilience scale was composed of 3 specific characters which were I HAVE, I AM, I CAN and 16 sub-components. In this study, we formed a preliminary scale composed of 61 items based on the results of literature review. Subjects were students with chronic illness(N=455) who were selected using simple random sampling method. Some of them were selected from nationwide hospital schools, video learning institutions, and others were outpatients of the hospital or were discharged from hospital. Survey was conducted from December, 2011 to August, 2012. After the executed factor analysis, 40 items were extracted. All 40 items were included in 3 specific characters(support character, ego character, and capability character) which were composed of 8 sub-components(family support, school support, local community support, self-worth, affirmation, hope, participation at school life, and self-control). To examine the validity of the resilience scale, we computed correlation coefficient among 8 sub-components, the result showed that they were highly correlated to each other. The resilience scale also had high internal consistency reliability, and the resilience scale had high validity and reliability, so that it could be used to measure resilience for students with chronic illness. The average value of the resilience scale was M=2.55. The capability character showed the highest value among the 3 specific characters(capability character(M=2.61) > ego character(M=2.53) > support character(M=2.50). Finally, this resilience scale was useful to evaluate resilience level of chronical illness student and could be a valuable criteria for developing guide list to encourage resilience level.
