지체장애인을 위한 컴퓨터 접근성 평가소프트웨어의 설계 및 구현

Design and Development of Computer Access Assessment Software for Persons with Physical Disabilities

본 연구의 목적은 지체장애인을 위한 컴퓨터 접근성 평가도구를 설계 구현하는데 있다. 이를 위해 광범위한 컴퓨터 접근성 평가 문헌 고찰과 평가도구 분석을 실시하였고, 그 결과를 토대로 지체장애인을 위한 컴퓨터 접근성 평가 프로그램(computer access assessment program, CAP)을 설계 구현한 후, 임상 전문가의 검토와 지체장애인을 대상으로 한 사용성 평가를 통해 신뢰도를 검증하였다. 컴퓨터 접근성 평가 문헌 고찰과 평가도구 분석을 통해 개발한 CAP은 4가지 포인팅기기 검사항목과 한글 및 영문 문자입력 검사항목 6가지, 그리고 스캐닝 검사로 구성되어 키보드와 포인팅기기 사용, 메뉴 찾기, 스캐닝 같은 컴퓨터 상호작용에 필요한 수행력을 측정할 수 있다. 그리고 컴퓨터 접근성 평가 관련 임상 전문가의 검토 결과 최소한의 컴퓨터 지식으로도 직관적인 평가수행이 가능하며, 전반적인 컴퓨터 접근성 기술을 측정하는데 필요한 검사항목으로 구성되어 양적 정보와 함께 질적 정보를 모두 파악할 수 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 지체장애인을 대상으로 한 사용성 평가에서도 내적일관성 신뢰도 계수인 Cronbach α값이 .792로 높게 측정되었다. 따라서 CAP은 지체장애인의 컴퓨터 접근성 평가 기술을 측정하고 검사하는데 적합한 도구이며, 임상과 연구 목적으로 다양하게 사용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

The purpose of this study was to design and develop computer access assessment tool for persons with physical disabilities. The study designed and developed computer access assessment program(CAP) through many kinds of literature reviews and tools analysis about evaluation of computer access, task analysis of fundamental input devices operation and expert review. The test items of CAP was composed of four timed mouse tasks, six timed keyboard tasks, and timed scanning task. Therefore, the software measures user performance in skills needed for computer interaction, such as keyboard and pointer use, navigating through menus, and scanning. The CAP had high item internal consistency and content validity. Therefore, the CAP is appropriate for evaluating and identifying computer access skill of persons with physical disabilities. It may be used for various clinical and research purposes related to the use of computer.
