이 연구에서는 일반 초등학교 6학년생의 장애학생에 대한 태도 유형을 주관성 연구방법(Q방법론)에 따라 분석하였다. 연구대상은 경남 지역 초등학교 6학년생 30명이었으며 장애학생에 대한 태도 유형을 분석한 결과 제 1유형, 동정적 친화형, 제 2유형, 자기중심적 분리지향형, 제 3유형, 객관적 배려형의 3가지 유형으로 분석되었다. 세 유형 중 1유형이 장애학생에 대한 초등학교 6학년생의 태도를 가장 많이 설명하고 있었다. 각 유형별 초등학교 6학년생의 답변에 대하여 긍정적 동의와 부정적 동의를 보인 진술문과 개인별 의견을 토대로 각 유형의 특성을 분석하여 명명하였으며, 유형별 차이와 특수교육에의 함의점 등에 대하여 논의하였다.
The purpose of this study was to examine the 6th grade elementary school students attitudes type toward students with disabilities. The subjective study methods (Q-methodology) was used for the research. The results were as follows: First, the 6th grade elementary school students attitudes toward students with disabilities were classified into 3 types. Second, the type Ⅰwas labeled ‘Compassionate and Friendly type’, and the type Ⅱ was labeled ‘Self-centered and Separation-oriented type , and the type Ⅲ was labeled ’Objective Care type’. Third, the students in Type 1 understood the difficulties of students with disabilities and had compassion to help them and also want to share learning space as well as being closed with them. The students in Type II didn t practically understand students with disabilities as a friend, and particularly they thought that it was better for them to learn in separated different settings. The students in Type III positively agreed to learn and play with students with disabilities. As well, they emphasize the improvement of convenient facilities and the anti-bias education activity to understand students with disabilities.
