고등학교 특수학급의 진로·직업교육과정 운영 실태

The status of career and vocational education curriculum management in special classes in high schools: Based on Busan

본 연구는 부산지역 고등학교 특수학급의 진로･직업교육과정 운영 실태를 파악함으로써, 향후 효율적이고 내실 있는 고등학교 특수학급 진로･직업교육과정 운영 및 지원 시스템 구축을 위한 방향성과 실제적인 방안의 제시를 목적으로 한다. 이상의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 총 67명의 고등학교 특수학급 교사를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시한 결과, 다음의 결론을 얻을 수 있었다. 첫째, 고등학교 특수학급의 진로･직업교육과정 운영 시스템은 종전과 비교할 때 긍정적인 변화가 보였으나, 전담인력의 확충을 통한 내실 있는 진로･직업교육과정 운영 및 졸업 후 추수지도 등의 과제가 시사되었다. 둘째, 고등학교 특수학급의 진로･직업교육과정 내용 및 방법은 현장중심 교육이 강화되었다는 측면에서는 고무적이나, 제한된 직종 위주의 직업교육 내용 등의 문제가 여전히 남아있었다. 셋째, 고등학교 특수학급의 진로･직업교육과정 운영을 위한 연계･지원 체제 실태를 검토하여 거점학교의 지원 확대, 연계･지원의 중추적인 역할을 담당할 교･내외 협의체 구성 등의 방안을 제안하였다.

The study aimed at presenting the direction and the way for effective career and vocational education curriculum management and support system construction of a special education class in a high school by investigating the status of the career and vocational education management of special classes in high schools in Busan. For the attainment of the study’s goal, 67 teachers in special classes in general high schools were selected as objects of the study. The follow findings were achieved through a survey of the teachers. Frist, the career and vocational curriculum management system has changed positively as compared with the past, but an expansion of persons in charge for effective career and vocational curriculum management and follow-up service after graduation is needed. Second, the fact that education based on field training been reinforced in the career and vocational curriculum content and the way of management is encouraging, but the occupational category provided from the career and vocational education is still limited. Third, the ways such as organizing consultative groups outside or in school in charge of the core role of link and support and expanding support for a vocational stronghold school was suggested by reviewing the status of the linked support system for the career and vocational education curriculum management
