장애학생 졸업 후 취업 지원에 대한 인식

A Qualitative Study on the Perception of the College and High School Graduates with Disabilities to Supporting Employment Conditions

연구목적: 본 연구는 장애학생 졸업 후 취업에 대한 인식을 살핌으로써 취업에서부터 안정된 직업생활 유지 및 사후관리를 위한 지원 방안을 모색할 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있었다. 연구방법: 본 연구에서는 현재 취업 중이거나 취업 준비 중인 장애 졸업생 10명을 대상으로 졸업 후 취업 지원에 대한 심층면담을 실시하였다. 면담은 선행연구 분석 후 면담지를 구성함으로써 반구조화된 방식으로 진행되었다. 면담 시 녹음과 녹화를 통해 수집된 자료는 주제 분석 방법 절차에 따라 분석하였다. 이 때 분석된 자료의 신뢰도와 타당성을 확보하기 위하여 연구대상자 본인 또는 제 3자를 활용한 연구참여자 검토를 실시하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, ‘취업준비에 대한 인식’의 주제에는 취업준비 교육, 취업상담, 취업정보, 취업의 불리함, 서비스의 필요성 등 총 5개의 하위 주제가 도출되었다. 둘째, ‘직업적응에 대한 인식’의 주제에는 이직경험, 직업유지를 위한 서비스, 직장생활의 어려움, 직장생활의 좋은 점 등 총 4개의 하위주제가 포함되었다. 셋째, ‘사후관리에 대한 인식’의 주제에는 취업 후 지원 욕구와 원만한 직장생활을 위한 바람이라는 2개의 하위주제가 도출되었다. 결론: 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 향후 장애학생의 졸업 후 취업과 직업적응, 사후관리를 위한 체계적이며 일관된 지원 방안을 모색하였다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the perception of employment supports including work preparation, work adjustment, and follow-up. Method: To reach this study purpose, 10 graduates with disabilities who were at working or preparing for the job were chosen as interviewees. Then in-depth interview was performed. The collected data were analyzed by using thematic analysis method. Results: First, in the theme of ‘Vocational preparation’, five sub-themes were extracted such as education for employment, vocational counselling, vocational information, vocational disadvantage, and necessity of service. Second, in the theme of ‘Vocational adjustment’, four sub-themes were included such as experience of changing job, service for job maintenance, difficulties related to work, and benefits related to work. Third, in the theme of ‘Follow-up service’, two sub-themes were extracted such as support needs after employment and desire to live a harmonious life at work. Conclusion: Based on these results, the directions to develop a systematic and consistent supporting that can facilitate the level of job adaptation and maintenance of the graduates with disabilities were suggested.
