Factors Affecting Employment and Job Satisfaction of Persons with Physical Disabilities

연구목적: 본 연구는 지체장애 근로자의 특성을 알아보고 지체장애인의 취업과 직업 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 이를 위해 2016년 장애인고용패널조사의 원데이터를 활용하여 기술통계, 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 분석을 통한 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지체장애 근로자의 인구사회적 특성과 장애 관련 특성은 모집단과 유사한 경향성을 보였다. 둘째, 지체장애 근로자에게 국민기초생활보장과 취업의 병행을 위한 제도적 지원이 요구된다. 셋째, 지체장애 근로자에게 제공하는 고용서비스의 양적확대와 더불어 질적확대를 위하여 맞춤형 네트워크 구축이 필요하다. 넷째, 지체장애 근로자의 취업 시 고용 조건에 대한 개선이 요구된다. 다섯째 지체장애인의 장애 정도와 건강상태를 고려한 취업이 요구된다. 여섯째, 취업을 위한 실제적인 자격증 취득을 위하여 체계적 지원이 요구된다. 결론: 지체장애인의 취업과 직업 만족도를 위한 고용서비스, 정책, 직업교육 방안 마련이 요구된다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of workers with physical disabilities and analyze factors affecting employment and job satisfaction of persons with physical disabilities. Method: This study was conducted on 2016 Panel Survey of Employment for the Disadvantaged by descriptive statistics and hierarchical regression analysis. Results: The results of these analyses were as follows. First, socio-demographic characteristics and disability related characteristics of the workers with physical disabilities were similar to the population. Second, institutional support was needed for workers with physical disabilities to guarantee the national basic living security and employment. Third, it was necessary to build a customized network to expand the qualitative expansion of the employment service provided to the workers with physical disabilities. Fourth, the employment condition of the workers with physical disabilities needed to be improved. Fifth, the employment of persons with physical disabilities was required to consider the degree of disability and health status. Sixth, systematic support was needed for practical certification for employment. Conclusion: Employment services, policies, and vocational education plans were needed for employment and job satisfaction of persons with physical disabilities.
