초등학생용 행동 평정 척도의 개발, 타당성 및 신뢰도 검증 연구

The Development, Validity, and Reliability of Behavior Rating Scale for Elementary Students

연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 초등학생에게 적합한 행동 평정 척도를 개발하고, 개발된 행동 평정 척도의 타당도와 신뢰도를 검증하는데 있다. 연구방법: 행동 평정 척도 개발을 위해 선행 문헌 및 검사도구 분석, 일반 및 특수 교사와의 포커스 그룹 인터뷰, 일반 및 특수 교사의 문항 중요도 평가 등을 실시하였다. 이렇게 개발된 행동 평정 척도를 사용하여 담임교사가 초등학교 학생 372명과 373명을 대상으로 평가를 실시하였고, 그 결과를 바탕으로 탐색적 요인 분석과 확인적 요인 분석을 각각 실시하였다. 또한 신뢰도 분석을 추가적으로 실시하였다. 연구결과 및 결론: 탐색적 요인 분석 결과, 문제 행동의 5 요인 구조가 나타났으며, 이에 대한 신뢰도는 양호한 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 확인적 요인 분석 결과 모형 적합도가 비교적 양호한 것으로 나타났다. 하지만, 5 요인 중 ‘규칙 어기기’ 요인의 신뢰도가 다소 낮게 나타나 문제 행동에 관한 다양한 선행 모델을 근거로 한 가설 모델을 수립한 후, 이를 검증하는 연구가 추후에 필요하다고 하겠다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a behavior rating scale which is suitable for Korean elementary students and to examine the validity and reliability of behavior rating scale. Method: To achieve this purpose, behavior rating scale was developed through extensive review on social skills literature and existing behavior rating scales, focus group interviews with teachers, and teachers importance rating of each item. Sample consisted of 372 for exploratory factor analysis and 373 for confirmatory factor analysis. Results and Conclusion: Exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and reliability analysis were undertaken to assess its factor structure. Results showed that exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis supported five-factor structure and internal consistency reliability was satisfactory. However, the factor of rule-breaking behavior showed somewhat low reliability and the further research on examining competing models was warranted.
