비구어 중도중복장애 학생의 의사소통에 대한 범위연구

Communication of Nonverbal Students with Severe and Multiple Disabilities: A Systematic Scoping Review

연구목적: 본 연구는 비구어 중도중복장애 학생 의사소통 관련한 국내외 논문을 체계적으로 분석하여 전반적인 연구동향을 살펴보고, 비구어 중도중복장애 학생 의사소통 지도 관련한 향후 연구과제에 주는 시사점을 모색하고자 하였다. 연구방법: 이를 위해 문헌연구의 한 방법인 범위연구(scoping study) 방법을 사용하였으며, 범위연구 방법의 절차에 따라 비구어 중도중복장애 학생 의사소통과 관련된 선행연구 총 72편을 선정하고, 선정된 논문들을 연구 참여자, 연구방법, 자료수집 방법, 연구주제에 따라 분석하였다. 연구결과: 선행연구의 분석결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구 참여자는 국내외 모두 중도자폐성장애와 중도지적장애를 대상으로 한 연구가 가장 많았으며, 시·청각중복장애 대상 연구는 국외에서 더 많이 이루어지고 있었다. 둘째, 전체 연구 중 단일대상설계가 대부분을 차지하였으며 질적연구와 혼합연구를 적용한 연구도 있었다. 셋째, 지금까지 이루어진 비구어 중도중복장애 학생 의사소통 관련 연구들을 하위주제별로 나누어 보면 (1) 비구어 중도중복장애 학생 의사소통 특성, (2) 의사소통에 영향을 미치는 요인, (3) 의사소통 중재 및 특성에 대한 연구로 나누어 볼 수 있으며, 중재연구 중에서는 AAC와 현경중심언어중재를 적용한 연구가 가장 많았다. 결론: 본 연구의 분석결과를 토대로 향후 연구방향에 대한 시사점이 논의되었다.

Purpose: The purpose of the study is to review literature in both South Korea and other countries on the communication of nonverbal students with severe and multiple disabilities to suggest directions for future research. Method: Using the scoping study method as one type of literature review, a total of 72 studies were selected and analyzed in terms of participants, study designs, data collection methods, and research themes. Results: The findings suggested that while students with severe autistic spectrum disorders and severe intellectual disabilities took part in the majority of studies, there is international research that studied students with visual/hearing and multiple disabilities. Second, most studies employed single-case research designs and a small number of studies using qualitative research designs or mixed-method designs. Third, targeted studies were categorized into three themes: (1) characteristics of nonverbal students with severe and multiple disabilities, (2) factors influencing communication of nonverbal students with severe and multiple disabilities, and (3) communication intervention. Conclusion: Based on the findings, implications for future research were discussed.
