Career and Vocational Education Ways for Students with Severe and Multiple Disabilities

연구목적: 본 연구는 중도·중복장애학생의 학교에서 사회로의 원활한 지원을 위한 진로·직업교육의 모형을 개발하여, 중도·중복장애학생을 위한 진로·직업교육에 대한 개선방안을 제시하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 본 연구에서는 중도·중복장애학생의 진로·직업교육에 대한 학술지 논문, 중도·중복장애학생을 위한 진로·직업교육 관련 교육과정, 중도·중복장애학생을 위한 진로·직업교육 관련 모형, 중도·중복장애학생을 위한 진로·직업교육 관련 척도를 중심으로 문헌을 수집하였다. 연구결과: 중도·중복장애학생의 진로 및 직업교육 방안은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중도·중복장애학생들의 진로·직업교육에 대한 학교구성원, 지역사회구성원, 가족구성원의 인식개선 방안을 제시하였다. 둘째, 학교중심의 중도·중복장애학생 진로·직업교육에 대한 방안을 제시하였다. 셋째, 학교와 지역사회 및 가정과의 연계를 통한 진로·직업교육 방안을 제시하였다. 넷째, 지역사회 및 가정 중심의 진로·직업교육 방안을 제시하였다. 마지막으로, 연구 기반의 지원을 통한 중도·중복장애학생의 진로·직업교육 방안과 행·재정적인 지원을 통한 중도·중복장애학생의 진로·직업교육 방안을 제시하였다. 결론: 중도·중복장애학생의 학교 졸업 이후의 실제적인 배치를 고려하여 직업재활에 초점을 맞춘 진로 및 직업교육의 방향이 마련되어야 한다.

Purpose: The purpose of the study is to develop the model on career and vocational education for students with severe and multiple disabilities in order to suggest ways of enhancing the career and vocational education. Method: The study reviewed journal articles, curriculum, models, and scales regarding career and vocational education for students with severe and multiple disabilities. Results: Career and vocational education method proposals for the students were as follows. First, the study suggested ways to enhance the perceptions of careers and vocational education of school members, community members, and family members. Second, the study suggested career and vocational education methods based on examples of schools for students with severe and multiple disabilities. Third, the study suggested plans for career and vocational education to connect schools, communities, and families. Fourth, the study suggested methods of career and vocational education based on communities and families. Finally, the study suggested ways of career and vocational education through research base support as well as administrative and financial support. Conclusion: The career and vocational education needs to focus on vocational rehabilitation based on practical placement of the students with severe and multiple disabilities after their school graduation.
