The Effects of Social Support of People with Physically Disabilities on Post-Traumatic Growth : The Moderated Moderation Effects of Depression and Mentalization

연구목적: 외상을 입은 지체 장애인의 사회적 지지가 외상 후 성장에 미치는 영향이 우울과 정신화의 값에 따라 어떻게 영향을 미치는지 알아보는 것이다. 연구방법: 외상을 입은 지체장애인 250명을 대상으로 조절된 조절 효과를 검정하기 위해 Mplus 8.0을 사용하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 지체장애인의 사회적 지지가 높을수록 외상 후 성장은 증가하는데 우울함이 증가하면 이러한 영향이 감소하는 2원 상호효과가 나타났다. 둘째, 정신화 과정이 증가하면 2원 상호효과가 증가하는 조절된 조절 효과가 확인되었다. 그리고 정신화의 크기가 비교적 높은 수준에서는 우울의 2원 상호효과가 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. 결론: 우울의 부정적인 영향을 완화하기 위해서는 높은 수준의 정신화가 필요하다는 것을 시사한다.

Purpose: To find out how the impact of social support on post-traumatic growth of disabled people with trauma affects the value of depression and mentalization. Method: Mplus 8.0 was used to test the modulated modulation effect on 250 people with disabilities who suffered trauma. Results: First, the higher the social support of people with disabilities, the higher the post-traumatic growth, which resulted in a two-way interaction in which this effect decreased as depression increased. Second, the modulated modulation effect, resulting the two-way interaction effect as the mentalization process increases, was identified. At a relatively high level of mentalization, the two-way interaction of depression was not statistically significant. Conclusion: It suggests that a high level of mentalization is needed to mitigate the negative effects of depression.
