장애인 문학의 변천과 재활 과정의 특성에 관한 고찰

Considerations on the Changes and Characteristics of Literature of Disabilities Related with Rehabilitation Process

본 연구는 자서전적 장애인 문학에는 장애인들의 소중한 삶의 경험을 발견할 수 있어 우리나라 초기부터 현재까지 출간된 작품 중 연구자가 수집한 자료를 중심으로 나타난 다양한 특성들을 알아보고 재활 과정에 영향을 미치는 내용을 고찰한 것으로 결론은 다음과 같다.첫째, 우리나라 장애인 문학은 1981년 장애인의해, 1991년 장애인문인협회 구성 등 해가 거듭 될수록 문학성이 향상되고 표현이 보다 솔직하고 다양한 분야의 사람의 작품이 증가되었으며 외국 장애인 관련 유명작품 번역 등 양적질적인 증가를 볼 수 있다.둘째, 장애인 문학은 작품을 집필 한 저자에 따라 표현과 소재, 내용의 관점에 차이를 보인다. 장애인이 저자인 문학의 경우 과거 자신을 천사, 허수아비 등에 빗대어 표현하는 경향에서 벗어나 최근에는 평범한 인간의 모습으로 현실적인 표현들을 쓰고 있다. 셋째, 장애인 문학 작품을 통해서 장애인들의 다양한 직업 활동의 경험을 살펴 볼 수 있다. 문학에서 발견된 직업을 통해 발휘되는 풍부한 창의력과 도전 노력은 새로운 직업을 개발하는 통로가 될 것으로 본다. 넷째, 장애인 문학은 재활 과정에서 주는 격려, 협력, 간접경험, 치료효과 등 매우 다양하고 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있다.

This research concentrated on ways of rationally discussing and writing about literature. Use of analytic techniques and literary terms will be part of the job, and a central task will be to develop one s own critical arguments based on the evidence of the texts we read. This research found some influences and treats of the literatures to the rehabilitation process of disabilities. 1) Korean literatures of the disabilities steadily increased from 1981 and 1991 and there were quantatical and qualitical upgrade in the products of literatures and most of which were from translation of other countries. 2) Literature of disabilities shows differences according to the topic and main characters of the works. Characters of the literatures describe themselves as just human beings not an angels or a dummy. 3) this research found several occupational experiences of disabilities from the literatures. It would be helpful to the person who are disabilities. 4) Especially from the rehabilitation process many encouragement and cooperative experiences in the contents, literature of disabilities has positively influenced to the person who are disabilities.
