This study reviews how the sign-language-based (SLB) choreographed dance activities (CDA) programs will effect on the possible change of the mood states of the person with cerebral palsy (PCP) prior to and after conducting the dance training programs of the SLB-CDA. It also intends to help enhance the PCP s sustained physical development and thus contribute to developing their positive value system of life as well. The purpose of this study was to investigate the sign-language-based choreographed dance activities on the mood status of the person with Cerebral Palsy. The results of this study were as follows; First, the implementation of the phase Ⅰ program showed a low point in terms of total mood disturbance and fluctuation, but it showed some differences of statistical significance. Since this total mood disturbance showed difference of statistical significance in the five-factor scale of negative emotions such as tension, depression, anger, fatigue-ness, and confusion, dance stretching activities show positive change on the mood status by helping the students relax their body. Second, the implementation of resulted in low point of total mood fluctuation scale before and after imitative dance activities of person with cerebralpalsy( PCP) showing a statistical significance. The statistical significance, which is shown on the total mood disturbance scale with five factors such as tension, depression, anger, fatigue-ness, and confusion, tells us that imitative dance activities make positive mood change through imitations from and interactions with other members. Third, the implementation of phase Ⅲ showed relatively low points in the total mood disturbance before and after the PCP s experiencing verbal rhythm sensitivity with some statistical significance. The resulting statistical significance on each of the five factor scale of tension, depression, anger, fatigue-ness, and confusion proves that the verbal rhythm sensitivity makes positive mood changes for the cerebral-palsied children. Fourth, the phase Ⅳ implementation shows relatively low points in the PCP s total mood fluctuation before and after singing sons in the sign-language chorus activities while showing some difference of statistical significance. The means that singing activities in the sign-language chorus leads to making positive mood changes on the CPC s total mood disturbance of five factors of tension, depression, anger, fatigue-ness, and confusion. Finally, the sign-language-based (SLB) choreographed dance activities (CDA) program not only has contributed to helping the person with cerebral-palsy (PCP) to alleviate negative emotions such as tension, depression, anger, anxiety, fatigue-ness, and/or confusion, but it also has played an important role of enhancing good sense of self-esteem and vitality of each participant.
