순회교육의 ICT 활용 실태 및 교사의 인식

A Study on Teachers Recognition and Educational Application of ICT at Residential and Itinerant Education

이 연구는 정규 특수학교(급)에서도 국가 교육정책의 일환으로 21C 정보화 사회에 대비한 교육정보화 교육의 활성화 방안에 따른 기반 시설을 꾸준히 구축하여 왔으나 상대적으로 재택 혹은 시설, 병원 등에서 순회교육을 받는 학생들은 정보화 사회 교육에서 소외되거나 취약한 상태에 있다. 따라서 이 연구는 순회교육에서의 ICT 활용 교육 현황을 파악하고,순회교육 대상학생들이 ICT 활용 교육을 통해 다양하고 효과적인 학습 방법을 익히고 외부 세계와의 연결 도구로써의 활용할 수 있는 기반을 조성하고 특수학교(급)의 순회교육에서 수업의 질을 높일 수 있는 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 순회교육 담당교사를 대상으로 ICT 활용교육에 대한 실태와 인식을 조사 분석하였다. 그 결과는 순회교육에 있어서 ICT 활용 교육 실태는 평균 2.45로 중간(2.50)보다 낮게 나타났으며, 교사의 성별, 연령, 교육경력, 담당 장애영역, 학교 설립형태에 따른 순회교육의 ICT 활용에 대한 교사의 인식 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났으나 연령에 따라서는 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

ICT(Information & Communication Technology) in the field of special education is one of the useful teaching methods in a narrow scope. And in a broad scope, it should be a new teaching style that provides the chances for the disabled to live with the non-disabled in a community. The subject of this study are the teachers who visit and teach the disabled students at home. I tried to investigate the awareness of the teachers about the ICT application education, the actual condition in real class, and a plan to activate the ICT application education at special schools. Each questionnaire consists of 8 and 21 questions respectively. From the research, I would suggest the plans for activating the ICT application education as follows: Finally, teachers need to raise their awareness of the ICT application education. The study shows that ICT application education is not quite familiar to the teachers even though it is more significant and necessary to the disabled students rather than the non-disabled students. Secondly, proper teaching circumstances for ICT application education are required. Efficient and effective ICT application education can result from sufficient data supply and good equipments, along with teachers own laptop computers.
