임상동작훈련이 발달장애아동의 자세와 신체상에 미치는 효과

본 연구의 목적은 발달장애아동에게 임상동작훈련을 적용하는 것이 자세와 신체상에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 분석함으로써 발달장애아동의 신체상 향상에 기여하는 기초적인 자료를 제공하는 데에 있다. 연구대상은 총 4명이었으며, 본 연구에 참가하는 발달장애아동의 자세와 여러 가지 특징에 따라 임상동작훈련을 개별적으로 총 30회기 실시하였고, 신체상의 변화는 P.R.M.S. 검사도구와 인물화 검사로 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 30회기의 임상동작훈련 실시 후 각 아동의 동작도식과 훈련 전 후의 사진을 비교하였을 때 현저한 차이를 살펴 볼 수 있었으며, 신체상 검사의 경우에도 두 가지 검사 결과 모두가 훈련 전 후 대비 유의미한 발달과 변화를 보였다. 따라서 임상동작훈련은 발달장애아동의 자세를 발달시키고 신체상을 향상시키는데 효과적이라고 할 수 있겠다.

The purpose of this study was to examine how Dohsa-hou affected the posture and body image of children with developmental disability in an effort to lay the groundwork for improving their body image. The subjects in this study were four selected children who suffered from developmental disability. Dohsa-hou was separately applied to them in 30 sessions in accordance with their posture and characteristics, and P.R.M.S and a draw-a-person test were utilized to track any changes in their body image. The collected data were analyzed to see if there were any changes in their posture and body image, and the following findings were given: First, Dohsa-hou served to improve the posture of the developmentally disabled children. When their motions and pre- and post-photographs included in the appendix were compared, there appeared a marked difference. So it s concluded that Dohsa-hou had a significant impact on developing the posture of the developmentally disabled children. Second, Dohsa-hou brought a significant change to the body image of the children with developmental disability. Every child scored much better in P.R.M.S. posttest than in the pretest, and they made an outstanding progress in person drawing as well. Specifically, Child B portrayed more parts of the body as the training proceeded, while he skipped many parts in the past. In the case of Child C, there was no clue about what he intended to represent in the past, but his drawing became good enough to be analyzed by Oodomo s figure painting analytic criterion. Accordingly, Dohsa-hou exerted a significant influence on developing the body image of the developmentally disabled children. The findings of the study suggested that the application of Dohsa-hou in 30 sessions or more had a favorable impact on improving the posture and body image of the developmentally disabled children, and it could consequently be concluded that Dohsa-hou was effective at developing the posture of the children with developmental disability and at boosting their body image.
