Developing a Leisure Culture Model for Persons with Disabilities in the 21st Century

이 연구는 장애인 여가문화의 경향성을 분석하고 그 구성요소는 무엇이며 각 요소들이 어떻게 작용하여 여가문화의 장(場)이 성립되는 지에 대한 논지를 통해 장애인 여가문화 모형을 개발하는 것이다. 연구결과, 개체적 존재의 생명력에 기초한 학습본능이 중심축으로 작동하는 학습의 장에서 변환된 놀이에너지는 궁극적으로 문화에너지를 생성하고, 이 결과 학습본능으로써 앎을 실천하려는 배움의 선율에 의해서 상승된 운동력이 성숙한 여가문화를 창출하여 인간의 문화적 삶을 지속하여 발전시켜 나가게 하는 원동력이 된다. 이런 맥락에서 중도·중복장애인을 위시한 모든 인간은 여가 문화적 삶을 통해 자아실현을 추구함으로써「자유함」에 도달하려는 삶의 연속선상에 위치한 생명력 발현의 가치 있는 존재라고 할 수 있다.

The purpose of this study, based on the vitality of individual existence, was to promote cultural value of our society by groping for effective developmental tasks of leisure culture for individuals with disabilities in accordance with societal expectation to improve quality of individual life with disabilities in the 21st century. Disabilities can be said to be exist, but the persons with disabilities are not present from the view point of post-modernism which is a post of industrial societal and cultured person. In every way, all mankind including the persons with disabilities are the leisure cultural existences who have a learning and recreational nature. Consequently, the play energy made of harmonized melody of cognition and capability reproduces matured leisure culture and becomes a driving force for pursuing cultural life. In this context, all human beings should be regarded as valuable existence of life manifestation, which is located on the continuum of life that is to be being-free by pursuing self-realization through leisure cultural life.
