COVID-19 Data and Big Data Analysis: APEC

The data analysis was conducted through the data collection and coding of confirmed and deceased persons obtained from 13 major countries linked to South Korea in terms of the size of exports and imports. The global change trend of corona confirmed in 13 major countries, including corona big data from major APEC countries, is showing a three-stage spread of fluctuations. Regarding the changing trend divided into three stages, this paper shows the following features. First, APEC countries were classified as three different groups: (A) including Russia, the United States, and Japan, (B) including Vietnam, China, and South Korea, and (C) including Argentina and France, showing significance and homogeneity during the first rapid surge. Second, APEC countries were grouped by significance and homogeneity, revealing (A) represented by Vietnam, (B) represented by Italy, and (C) represented by Japan during the second rapid surge. Third, APEC countries showed two different groups: (A) Russia, the US, Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam, and (B) Germany and Italy, during the third rapid surge. In conclusion, such corona big data reveals a significant impact on politics, economy, and society, so various approaches and analyses on the corona big data spread worldwide should be performed.
