This paper is designed to deal with certain asymmetries in allowing wh-movement in such non-finite clauses as infinitives and gerunds in English. I make a claim that the asymmetry between the subject and the object in infinitives allowing wh-movement can be explained with the parallel movement proposed in Chomsky (2005). While ascribing certain asymmetries between infinitives and gerunds in allowing wh-movement to the difference in their CP structures, I propose that CP should be split into more projections such as FinP and ForceP following Rizzi (1997, 2004a, b).
