In particular, this study focuses on the process that affects the value of smartphones. Research design, data, and methodology: The variable of behavioral intention plays a mediating role between smartphone properties and values, and the modulating effect of gender is explored. In addition, in the case of a companion as a tourist, we would like to examine how it affects the final variable, the value, as one control variable. Results: As a results of analysis, it was found that the importance of smart tourism and its concept were established in that smart devices (here, smartphones) significantly influence the value through the tourist s behavioral intentions in terms of tourists. Conclusions: Therefore, it is judged that this study has shown meaningful results in the field of tourism by empirically proving the relationship that the role of smartphones and tourists behavioral intentions create value (time and cost in this case). Additionally, the analysis results of this study can determine which attributes of the smartphone the behavior is derived from.
