The purpose of this study is to present a business model in which the methodology from the perspective of service design, which is expanding into the public domain, is applied to fishing villages and to assess the possibility of its success. In order to present a business model for fishing villages, based on the results of field surveys, virtual personas were set as users and operators of fishing villages, and each customer journey map was analyzed. As a result, it was found that the common pain point felt in the process of each persona s experience was cleaning of the accommodation, especially hygienic bedding. Accordingly, based on the model for revitalization of fishing villages, which was suggested based on the sharing economy in previous studies, “shared washing” of fishing villages was discovered and presented as a business model.
