온⋅오프라인 실과(기술) 수업방법에 대한 초등예비교사 인식 연구

A Study on the Recognition of Pre-service Elementary Teachers on Practical Arts (Technology) On/Offline Teaching Methods

목적 이 연구는 예비 초등교사를 대상으로 실과 기술영역 실기와 관련된 수업을 진행함에 있어 온라인 교육과 오프라인 교육의 인식 차이를 알아보기 위하여 수행되었다. 방법 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 2019~2020학년도에 동일한 실과실기 강좌를 오프라인으로 수강한 예비교사 215명과 온라인으로 수강한 173명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 설문은 실과실기 강좌와 관련된 초등학교 실과 성취기준 13개에 대한 중요도와 수행도 및 실기와 관련된 자신감 15문항으로 구성되었다. 결과 온라인 교육을 받은 그룹과 오프라인 교육을 받은 그룹은 실과 성취기준에 있어서 중요도 있어서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타내었다. 수행도 측면에서는 유의한 차이를 찾을 수 없었다. 실과 수업 지도 자신감에 있어서는 일부 하위 요인들에서는 차이가 있었으나 전체적으로는 두 그룹이 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 결론 연구의 결과와 논의를 토대로 분석할 때 특정 교육 방법이 더 나은 방법이라고 판단하기는 어렵다. 다만 온라인 교육의 장점이 나타난 만큼 오프라인 수업에 대한 개선 노력이 부족했는지 되돌아 볼 필요성이 있다.

Objectives This study was conducted to find out the difference in recognition between online education and offline education in teaching pre-service elementary teachers related to practical arts technology area. Methods In order to achieve the purpose of the study, a questionnaire was conducted on 215 pre-service teachers who took the same Practical Arts practical skills education course offline and 173 students who took online in 2019 and 2020. The questionnaire consisted of 15 questions on the importance and performance of 13 elementary school achievement standards related to the Practical Arts practical skills education course, and confidence related to practical skills. Results The group who received online education and the group who received offline education showed a statistically significant difference in terms of importance in Practical Arts achievement standards. No significant difference was found in terms of performance. There were differences in some of the sub-factors regarding confidence in teaching practical skills in Practical Arts, but overall, there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups. Conclusions It is difficult to judge that a specific educational method is a better method when analyzing based on the results and discussions of the research. However, as the advantages of online education emerged, it is necessary to look back on whether efforts to improve offline classes were insufficient.
