문물로 본 가야와 백제의 교섭과 교역

The negotiations and trades between Gaya and Baekje through the artifacts

가야권역과 마한·백제권역에서 출토된 각 계통의 유물을 검토한 결과, 가야와 백제 사이에 이루어진 교류는 교섭과 교역이란 양면성을 띠었다. 3~4세기대 낙동강 하류의 금관가야와 마한·백제, 5세기대 아라가야 및 소가야와 전남 해안지역 영산강수계·한강수계·6세기 전반대의 소가야 및 대가야와 전남 해안지역 및 영산강수계 집단과의 교류는 물품과 정보 교환을 위해 남서해의 연안 항로를 이용한 해상교역이 중심이었다. 5세기 전반 이전까지 남강상류와 금강수계를 연결한 교류도 교역의 형태였을 가능성과 함께 양 문화권이 혼재하는 점이지대가 형성되었을 가능성을 제시하였다. 가야와 마한·백제 사이에 이루어진 교역의 주 대상품은 가야의 철과 낙랑·중원에서 생산된 위신재적 희소품의 중개 및 소금·곡물·어패류 등 일상품도 교역 대상이었을 가능성도 있었다. 5세기 전반의 늦은 시기 이후, 가야의 지배 엘리트는 백제 중앙으로부터 지배층의 권위를 상징하는 각종 위세품을 수용하여 사회적 차별화와 지배의 틀을 견고히 하였는데, 대가야 지배 엘리트에 의해 주도적으로 수용되었다. 6세기 전반의 늦은 시기에는 묘제·매장관습·사회사상 등 관념적인 부문까지 수용하였다.

As the result of each systems of relics that was excavated in the areas of Gaya, Mahan and Baekje, the alternating currents between Gaya and Baekje have both faces which are called negotiations and trades. The interchanges of center among Gumguangaya which was placed near the downstream of Nakdong river·Mahan·Baekje in 3~4th centuries, Aragaya·Sogaya·the coast of Jeon-nam·the waterside of Yeong-san river·the waterside of Han river in 5th century, the groups of Sogaya·Daegaya·the coast of Jeon-nam·the waterside of Yeong-san river in early 6th century, was marine commerces by the use of the sea route of seashore in west east sea for exchanges of goods and informations. Before the early 5th century, the intersection where the two cultures was mixed was built up with the possibility that the alternating current which connected the upper stream of Nam river and the water side of Gum river was the form of commerce. Not only the export(import) goods among Gaya, Mahan and Baekje were the iron of Gaya and the agency of dignity of umcommon goods produced in Nakrang and Joongwon but also it was possible that salt·grains·fishes or shells was the objects of trades. After the early of 5th century, the dominators like king and nobles of Gaya made the social distinction and a shape of dominance steadily by accept each kind of prestige of special goods that symbolized the position of dominators from the center of Baekje. It was received by dominators Daegaya initiatively. The classes of spirit like the forms of tombs·the tradition that buring person·social spirit was accepted in the early 6th century.
