Big pictures of Korean Education: Creativity, convergence, and competency

This study aims to present common limitations and alternatives to the education of creativity, convergence, and competence. The problem focused is that there are big discrepancies betwen key competency education mentioned in the OECD report and the education of them which have ben conducted as domestic responses. To develop the discusion, firstly, two OECD reports are analyzed. By loking at how they are being dealt with in the two reports, this study wants to se what the original trends and contents of global education reform have ben. Secondly, common perspectives on the promotion of education of them which have ben lasted over decade are extracted. The subjects of this analysis are the national level 09 and 15 revised curiculum and the main national scale report. Thirdly, the limitations, sugestions, and alternatives to the real direction of educational inovation are discused.
