캐나다한인 시문학에 나타난 트랜스내셔널 양상

Transnational aspect of Canadian-Korean Poetry: Focusing on the literary magazine 『Canadian Literature』

본 연구에서는 캐나다한인의 시문학을 대상으로 트랜스로컬의 정체성과 지향성을살펴보고자 했다.기존의 캐나다한인의 시문학 연구들은 주로 민족,민족성,한국인으로서의 정체성,이민자 의식,디아스포라의 관점의 연구에 머무르고 있는 아쉬움이있다.따라서 본 연구는 캐나다한인문인협회에서 발간한 기관지 『캐나다문학』(1-19 호)에 실린 시들을 대상으로,작품에 나타난 트랜스내셔널한 양상과 그 의미에 대해조명해보고자 하였다. 캐나다한인 시문학의 양상으로는 ‘캐나다 한국인’으로서의 ‘자기소외 인식’과 ‘서로의 차이’를 인식하고 이를 ‘유지’하며 트랜스내셔널한 정체성을 구축하고자 함을알 수 있었다.즉 캐나다의 국민이면서 한국인이라는 소수민족(이민자)의 위치 사이에서 길항하면서 ‘차이의 인식’과 나아가 ‘화합’을 꿈꾸는 방식으로 자신들의 정체성을찾는 양상을 보이고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

This study tried to examine the identity and orientation of translocality for Canadian-Korean poetic literature. Existing Canadian-Korean poetic studies are mainly regrettable to stay in the perspective of ethnic, ethnicity, identity as a Korean, immigrant consciousness, and diaspora. Therefore, this study aimed to illuminate the transnational aspect and meaning of the poems published in <Canadian Literature>(No. 1-19) published by the Canadian-Korean Writers Association. It was found that the aspect of Canadian-Korean poetic literature is to recognize ‘self-alienation’ and ‘difference between each other’ as ‘Canadian-Koreans’, ‘maintain’, and build a transnational identity. In other words, Canadian-Koreans were struggling between the positions of immigrants who were both Canadian and Korean, showing signs of finding their identity by dreaming of ‘awareness of differences’ and even ‘harmony’.
